Kind of surprised he seemed well informed on what Deepseek actually is. The breakthrough isn’t the chatbot. Nobody cares about that. It is the fact that it’s an open source LLM and was supposedly developed on lower end GPUs and for much less money. Take that part with a grain of salt though.
