Short Answer: Its the Exports, stupid.
Long Answer: India doesn’t have the manufacturing infrastructure and capacity China has developed since the 1980s decade. And India doesn’t have the supply chains from other Raw material countries to produce an ideal environment for their own companies and exclusive deals.
India should try doing an OBOR but a version for India’s supply chains instead of the PRC.
It’s much harder for India to do so, considering India doesn’t have a Command Economy like China either.
