It’s far more important that they know we’ll stand by the island if they try to invade than it is that we use more tough guy rhetoric. But Trump doesn’t understand this, because he’s an idiot who’s never had anything more than tough guy rhetoric and like most paper tigers always backs down when somebody actually punches him in the face.
