Laid off by the Trump administration, a former FAA employee says he’s concerned: A disabled veteran … telling WUSA9 on Saturday that he is concerned about public safety in U.S. airspace.

Putting a note here, the SF-50 is not a code for that. I think the journalist misheard the terms/it’s written by a transcription software or AI because more likely he’s referring to the SF-15 and it’s not a protection from layoffs in general but a preference for disabled veterans. Likewise there’s a similar mistake of “D to 14” when it should be the DD214. Would be so much better if they didn’t make basic mistakes.

Regardless, when/if we start having more plane crashes, we gotta put the blame on Trump. His admin is illegally cutting experienced employees directly tasked with keeping aviation safe.
