  1. this was a long-winded way of saying the obvious thing: supply and demand. article could have been cut down by 95% lol

    article probably could have stopped there. they went into other bureaucratic stuff that could makea difference in edge cases, but that’s all minor compared to the fact that we’ve never had so many people who seek therapy relative to the number of available therapists

  2. So if a therapist does not accept insurance, they expect all of their patients to pay 100% out of pocket? They don’t serve anybody who can’t afford it on their own?
