As much as it pains me to take a position that probably benefits the treasonous orange shitweasel, tomorrow I’m getting in touch with my representative in the House and saying “So, if you’re a Republican, do you maybe want to live in a republic? Elon Musk cannot be emperor if you want a republic. The office of President doesn’t grant the ability to replace Congress with a consultant.”

I do not want Donald Trump to be President, but I’d prefer a situation where he has to do the tasks of the office himself and can’t hand things off to a younger and more energetic dictatorial nitwit.

We can spend a trillion dollars killing brown kids but god forbid we spend a fraction of that on the people we were ostensibly fighting for. There aren’t (weren’t?) many Republican positions I would geniunely call evil but this is one of them. They spent **years** making 9/11 their entire personality but the moment people who were *actually* hurt ask for some help suddenly the spigots are dry.

I absolutely love people in social media who cheer on cutting the budgets of USAID and “federal waste” saying that we should use that money to help Americans only for the people who voted for to do this shit. The funnier thing is that they won’t even know or frankly care that this is happening.
