Mexico targets American gun smugglers in response to naming cartels terrorists

I love how this sounds like and perhaps is political retaliation when theoretically both of these countries *should* be cooperating to target cartels and smugglers (even if the terrorist designation is stupid)

Where you not targeting American gun smugglers before?

I assume many of these dudes are American intelligence officers if this is being treated as “retaliation”
