As with the last time, I expect these tariffs to end up being reduced or delayed after the EU grants Trump some largely symbolic “concessions” that he can spin as a victory here in the US.
His supporters talk up what a master negotiator he is and pretend they knew all along that Trump merely threatens tariffs as a negotiating tactic, ignoring the fact that they were defending tariffs during the campaign season. Rinse and repeat.
