  1. Please for the love of God allow these trials to proceed. Pancreatic cancer is horrible, my grandfather died from it.

  2. My mom is currently being treated for pancreatic cancer. She’s doing better than doctors expected on chemo and her indicators continue to be good, but we both know how ruthless this disease is and that it’s only a matter of time until that changes. This vaccine represents hope for an actual cure for my mom and people like her and Bobby Bearhumper is going to try to ban it.

This research was made possible in part by federal grants. I’m assuming a wide majority of institutional research projects are/were, in some way.

Here’s my hot take to keep that faucet running. We get the POTUS on the horn and pitch him on a *new* law (a beautiful new law, one of the smartest, just huge) that allows very nice folks to patent and profit from government basic research funding. But, the end widget has to be produced in the US. We could call it the ~~Bayh-Dole Act~~ Make America Research Again act and everyone would love it. If you could have something like that you’d get some money back into the US economy from federal grants for the first time ever and wow, it’d be really revolutionary, really something very special.
