When their forecast hit -1.5%, a bluesky thread was posted here, explaining that this seemed mostly due to a surge in imports (trying to beat the upcoming tariffs) which were not appearing as investment/consumption yet. So an artifact which should disappear with time. I’m assuming this is still the case here?

I know no one will read the article but this isn’t the official Atlanta fed prediction for the record and is most likely due to a massive surge of imports messing with the numbers
