The funniest thing about this is that almost everyone prefers to be in the federal system for prisons, so a all pardon would do is send him to state prison, which he probably doesn’t want

Even if Trump does it state charges are still a thing. He’d be at the mercy of Minnesota’s governor, I think his name was Tim Walz.

Why my go-to guy to watch reviews of Hollywood adaptations of Broadway musicals is involved with these type of politics?

Trump has opened my eyes how morally corrupt the American right is. I never liked Trump to begin with but I didn’t realize how infested the American right is with hate, misinformation, tribalism, and authoritarianism.
1. Trump can’t fully pardon Derek Chauvin as he is serving 22 year state sentence on top of another 21 year federal sentence. If a Canadian knows this, so should Ben. He was a lawyer, no?
2. Even though I initially disagreed that Derek Chauvin murdered George Floyd. His actions are indefensible. It is very clear that Derek Chauvin’s lack of care to render aid to George Floyd led to his death. At very least Derek Chauvin is guilty of manslaughter. Whether he is guilty of manslaughter or murder doesn’t matter. Chauvin deserves to be in jail.
3. Out of all petitions you can start to ask the President to pardon someone, if the person at the top of your list is Derek Chauvin, you are a pathetic piece of shit. As someone who is pro-Police, Derek Chauvin is the last police officer I would want to serve in my community.

2 minutes with no pulse and he still had his knee on him. The right has been constantly trying to change the facts of the case.

Musk’s approval of the appeal is the buried lede.
