That’s what we’re all saying. People like a candidate who fights (or who they feel is fighting) for them. Dems can either ride that wave or sink beneath it.

No they aren’t. Democrats need to be the normal party. The base is filled with white hot rage and blindly wants Dems to “FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!” but that’s not something swing voters (the people who actually decide elections) want from Democrats.

“All they did was heckle and walk out. No one found out about NIH cuts and CFPB closures because it got lost in the heckling and disruption. It overshadowed his threat to invade Greenland. Democrats should have brought signs or worn T-shirts with slogans or held counter-town halls in their district. Passive resistance guys!” –The Atlantic if the writer’s proposed response had actually occurred.

The Do-Something crowd is an unholy alliance of leftist grifters, Republicans, and legacy media that trolls its liberal readership aided by [people who don’t know what they want](https://www.reddit.com/r/sanepolitics/comments/1ivnhg2/stop_insisting_democrats_do_something_thats_not/) and it’s getting old. This is what the opposition does. It calls attention to failings and leverages its votes.
Remember rule 47. No matter what, blame the democrats.
