Most “secret camera” revelations I’ve seen have been underwhelming but [this one](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PY_chqyaRHo) with Center for Renewing America director Russell Vought is genuinely insane and worth the watch (only 10 minutes, very well produced). Some big insights are that
1. yes, Trump distancing himself from Project 2025 is just messaging/branding, it’s not real (obvious, but still nice to have it confirmed by someone on the inside)
2. “rehabilitating Christian nationalism” is explicitly a goal of the project
3. **there is a second phase of Project 2025 which they have not made publicly available (unlike “Mandate for Leadership”) that involves the drafting of Day One executive orders**
4. they are designing their agenda to be as “un-FOIAable” as possible to minimize transparency
It really seems like MAGA is trying to design and build an unaccountable shadow government

This type of thing honestly reminds me of the Project Veritas stuff that played a big part in the 2016 elections. “This election is like 2016 but with parties reversed” seems to become more and more true as the days go on.
