that doesnt mean China will ever be a reliable partner for Europe, its just that it will play both sides to its interests
I firmly believe that China is only “closer” (sometimes) to Russia so that they can take advantaged of a distracted, weakened, reliant Russia. China’s got their own “minerals deals” in mind.
