  1. “Greatest county in the world” (re American exceptionalism) and globalization is what is holding back innovation? 😂

    >>> “In reality, the advent of the ATM made bank tellers more productive, and you have more people today working in customer service in the financial sector than you had when the ATM was created,” he said. “Now they’re doing slightly different jobs.”

    Your daily “*please don’t forget about me I need headlines too*” -type comment from JD “bitch-ass dumb fuck” Vance

  5. The four horsemen that destroy productivity:

    1) competition;

    2) access to more varied materials, skills and feeder tech to use to innovate;

    3) larger economies of scale to handle more and larger projects; and

    4) expanded markets to drive demand more more innovation.

    It’s the advent of these four destroyers that have made the post cold water era a time of utter technological stagnation, with innovation in energy, computing, communication, info tech, space exploration, medicine and robotics, among other things, grinding to a halt.

    And if you don’t understand that, you don’t *deserve* to date JD’s youngest couch.

  6. Just one more protectionism and the us auto industry is going to crush China. Just one more dawg.
