5 years ago today, Trump admitted to Bob Woodward he “always like to play COVID down” [x-post /r/FiveYearsAgo]

The fact that all the people who died from COVID was not even mentioned once as an issue during the ‘24 election cycle is telling. Voters either don’t remember/memoryholed it, don’t care, or figure those people were already unhealthy & would have died a different way instead. I’m not sure which theory is most accurate tbh.
