    This is unironically a very good idea, but will take a long time to reach any kind of critical mass. We should look to allies for some shipbuilding, like SK.

  3. He should make a law to require any shipments between American ports to be done by ships constructed in the US and crewed by Americans. It’ll go very well with the rest of his protectionist agenda

    Nothing says build more ships like mass deporting the workforce who woukd gladly do this line of work.
