    And if/when the US has full control of the Panama Canal, they absolutely are going to charge Chinese ships exorbitant prices to transit or prevent them from using it altogether.

    Sucks but there’s no easy way of solving the navy’s problem, you can make the life of everyone worse however by levying fees on Chinese ships because “national security”.
