Man, this must have been the most successful political assassination of the century. Tetsuya Yamagami himself probably didn’t expect that killing Abe would have been a socetal awakening about the reach of the cult.

I don’t approve what he did, but I consider the assasination a tragic consequence of letting a cult fester unimpeded and to let them overtly corrupt the national institutions.
