The leader of the RN deputies was, among other things, sentenced on Monday, March 31, to five years of ineligibility with immediate execution, a common but not systematic modality, which deprives her of a candidacy in the 2027 presidential election.

Having left the courtroom before even hearing her sentence, Marine Le Pen seemed to be reeling from the blow upon her arrival at the National Rally headquarters.
