texas judges about to get so much business.

Who knows maybe citizens may get deported. Again we are at war, with some country, who cares deport criminals if the regime designates it.

    > Critically, the court made clear in its unsigned order that officials must give migrants subject to Trump’s Alien Enemies Act proclamation adequate notice that they are being removed pursuant to the wartime authority so that they have time to bring habeas complaints.

If the officials don’t, however, the court will nevertheless say that’s fine.

  3. Trump: So yeah, according to this 230 year old law, I am entitled to create overseas concentration camps to house citizens without trial.

  4. When a Dem president takes power, I hope they crush the Supreme Court in every way imaginable. Constitutional crisis be damned.

  5. I honestly think at this point almost nobody outside politicians actually treats or respects the Supreme Court as its supposed original intent as a non-partisan body. They either see it as a tool to give ultimate legitimacy to their laws or as a bunch of partisan hawks that act as an unelected Council of Elders.
