I think a lot of people have the impression that neither party is really paying attention to them, and polls are [consistently showing](https://www.statista.com/statistics/987347/brexit-opinion-poll/) public opinion views Brexit as a mistake, but that doesn’t mean re-entering would be easy. The Brexit vote spun up a huge debate, and all of that would come roaring back. The general mood to me seems to be the UK doesn’t need that kind of distraction right now.
