This is the kind of small-company public communications that I really respect. Responding in good faith to concerns expressed by customers, being forthright and transparent about the decision-making process, no “PR speak”, and no blatant agenda pushing.
I wish it were realistically possible for other businesses to approach PR this same sort of way.

It was always allowed. You’ve always been able to pay more for “made in America” for pretty much all consumer goods. You don’t need tariffs to do that, in fact tariffs are going to make your “made in America” stuff more expensive due to international supply chains.
