Woman sues neighbor over basketball hoop in driveway, MN lawsuit says
A dumb neighbor reveals dumb zoning laws. Call me crazy, but I think you should be able to put a basketball hoop wherever you'd like on your own property.
Try blasting narcorridos as you drive home from work. I for one am partial to “Rafa Caro” by Grupo Efectivo.

It should be a crime to use lawfare like this. Talk about a waste of the city’s time and money and the neighbor’s time and money. Maybe no prison time if you agree to see a fucking shrink and take a Xanax or something.
Edit; also idk if this is even dumb zoning laws. It just sounds like someone weaponizing the courts and city administrative processes. Idk about their city but where I’m at, a “sport court” could be considered an accessory to the main use of a single family home so long as it doesn’t take up more than 5% of the lot area. And it probably wouldn’t even be considered a sport court unless it was open to the public lol. It’d just be a driveway. Permanently installing a basketball hoop within the setback may be verboten but that’s all I can think of.

Drop a tactical nuke on all zoning laws. Let people own basketball hoops and build apartment complexes…
