What was the point? Just to make him look bad for petty reasons?
Nothing happened.
A few German MPs hobbled their centrist Chancellor and empowered the fascist for no actual benefit. But hey, I bet they felt real good about themselves!
Let it be known, no one embarasses the CDU on the world stage twice in one day!

I am worried for the future.
Ridiculous this was necessary. Maybe the historicity of creating a massive me embarrassment right off the bat and weakening both parties will make the MPs who voted against Merz fall in line
