Tl;Dr all the firings of federal employees combined with red tape DOGE has introduced requiring anti-woke compliance and special justification for even minimal expenses have made the government slower, less efficient, and are costing more total $$$.
Who could have seen this coming. In my opinion the inevitable outcome will be outsourcing more government work to the private sector, which was likely the goal of folks like Musk, Thiel, etc. all along.
