    So Ima get some hate for this maybe, but Trump has always said “No nukes for Iran” as a hard line, both on campaign trail and as president. It isn’t him failing a campaign promise. Right or wrong, he is doing what he said he would. Video compilation to show it.


    I am not making a statement that he should or shouldn't bomb Iran's nuclear sites. but people are saying it is a reversal and it just isn't so. Iran policy wasn't a big part of his campaign. BUT it was there consistently all along.

      All he had to do to keep Iran from going after nukes was… nothing… since they weren’t going after them… according to our own intelligence community…

      Also coulda gotten back into a nuclear deal like the one he pulled out of. They were negotiating but some genius put in a “zero enrichment” demand to make it a poison pill for Iran and sabotage the talks.

      I love libertarians in general, definitely Liberty and freedom first and anti-authoritarian.

      I do think some libertarians get too idealistic and too academic. Socialist can easily argue that socialism if executed flawlessly would be amazing, but that’s never reality. Libertarians do need to put on a pair of reality glasses and view the world through a libertarian but yet reality view.

      At some point, geopolitics need to play a factor. You can’t just sit back and wait until another country is actively attacking you before you get involved in geopolitics. At least that’s my opinion.

      I don’t know if this is good or bad for the USA, but do many libertarian posts seem so shortsighted and don’t have any tolerance for nuance in them.
