  1. I am fully expecting a long downturn at some point due to tariffs, and this is the first actual hard data warning sign.

    The downturn we saw earlier this year was very premature and panic driven but the things people were panicking about are still a possibility, it just takes time to realize, and I am trying to keep watch to see if/when it comes about.

    Part of me was hoping the tariffs would cool the economy enough to defeat inflation, but if we get inflation and a cooling economy, we are in trouble, combined with Fed turmoil as Powel leaves?….

    Sigh, I hate having to pay attention this much.

    We’re still seeing the residual effects of Bidenomics.

    When the numbers are good again, that’s when the Trump presidency actually begins.
