  1. >My concern is, to start to walk down the line of language and making clear what language I believe is permissible or impermissible takes me into a place similar to that of the president.

    cmon now

This whole situation reminds me of when UPenn’s president wouldn’t answer a yes or no question in Congress on whether calls for violence against Jewish students was against UPenns code of conduct.

Dude just say “I unequivocally support Palestinian statehood and an end to the conflict however I do not endorse any language that would make my Jewish constituents feel unsafe.” Just stop fucking doubling down.

Leftists call out dog whistles for any other minority but suddenly go deaf when it comes to Jews.

I recommend watching the full interview. Not only did he refuse to condemn after a minute of wishy washy bs he switched to talk about Mahmoud Khalil. That should tell you everything you need to know…

You don’t have to be a brainless magat to know that the left, especially the sort of people who identify as ‘democratic socialists,’ have absolutely no issues whatsoever “policing speech.” Except when it comes to something like this.

  6. I don’t know why Trump and the GOP are acting scared of him. There could be no better outcome for them than him winning this mayor’s race.

They will get to highlight everything he utters and every little thing bad that happens in NYC and pin it all on the “socialist Democrats” and broadcast it all over the country every single night in prime time. This guy is a gift to them in my opinion and things like this prove that.

It’s a shame because he actually seems to have political skill but I think this is going to be an insanely detrimental experiment.
