I know some folks into the whole Tartarian conspiracy thing believe that we can't build this or couldn't build it back then, and buildings like these were taken over after they were defeated supposedly. To be honest, I don't see how it'd be impossible for us to make today or even back then. Just seems like it'd take longer without the fancier tools. Folks mention horses and buggies over and over, but from what I know, if any big building blocks were made, it wouldn't be carried by horse and buggy anyway. The materials used to make it would, but they wouldn't normally haul giant parts on a buggy anyway.
I mean, this isn't like the Egyptian Pyramids where even we can't seem to replicate that and folks definitely didn't build it back then with the tools we believe they supposedly used, as I feel that was the result of more advanced tech, used by higher evolved beings or if they were used by people, it was supervised by them and then either taken away or lose or destroyed.

I have made a few masterpiece’s in Fallout 4
We could, the builders just wouldn’t see the value in it. That beauty comes at the cost of the almighty dollar.
The difference is what people value.
No, but we can make damned fine barndominiums!
Whether it’s possible or not we don’t anymore
La Sagrada Familia is *being built, right now.*

It’s just a different era, it’s possible to do it but it usually looks fake when the style is imitated, the best would be to restore these instead of building new ones, it’s complicated as it needs the same kind of stone, in Notre Dame they employed sculptors which is a niche profession, same for the rest, the end bill can be heavy, but don’t be upset about it, each time got it’s unique architecture, not everything looks as sad as the cement 80s type.
Labor costs alone would bankrupt a company. Now add in materials and building codes… we could but we won’t…
Out of foam, no problem
Honestly, I think we could, it would just be really expensive, and that’s only to build it. Imagine what the insurance and maintenance on that would be there’s a lot of financial factors that would have to be put into though, the final nail in the coffin is who gonna fund this little project LoL
Depends, if you let a Spanish or Japanese architect build it, no problem.
If you let a DEI western hire build it, no, it will collapse.
But the cost, geez, we are talking in the hundreds of millions at minimum and time, we are talking about 7-10 years minimum.
Beautiful St Vitus cathedral in Prague 🤩. My home.
Yes it’s certainly possible. There are stonemasons today that have the skills to cut and shape the stone. And carve the sculptures.
But we need to remember that some of these cathedrals to sometimes 1-200 years to build!!
So imagine… you grow up learning the craft of stone masonry from your father who is working on the cathedral. You spend your whole life working on it as well, teaching your own son the skills.
And when you die it is still not finished !!
Nothing today is like this
