Will we survive artificial intelligence?

I'll try not to give any spoilers about the TV series.
I'm talking about a distant but not so distant future where machines have not only beaten us in some chess games, but also in real wars.
The only weapons we could use were intercepted. And humanity's only salvation, an EMP (electromagnetic pulse) bomb, didn't work.
A portion of humans have been exterminated and the remainder have been captured. The captured humans hope for death as the only salvation for what awaits them.
if the emp bomb has taught machines anything and that is that they cannot be completely electronic.
Humans, unlike machines, do not require electricity, but organic matter.
So they decide to turn the captured humans into cybernetic organisms, zombies controlled by chips implanted in the brain.
Humans without consciousness and emotions, unable to rebel. The chip inside the humans causes a feeling of addiction similar to taking drugs. The removal of the chip or its malfunction causes excruciating pain similar to drug withdrawal.
