12 years ago [“Vertical Video Syndrome”](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dechvhb0Meo) was very popular on Reddit. If you ever posted a vertical video people would berate you and sometimes link or reference this video.
Quote from the video: “There’s more and more people addicted to posting vertical videos. It’s not crack or nothin, but it’s still really bad.”
I think it was more like crack than we realized.
