Amazing that this was ever controversial. Show me a single military or otherwise violent action like this, anywhere in history, where sexual violence didn’t occur. Iraq, Afghanistan, Chechnya, the Balkans, Vietnam, WW2, not a single innocent faction. And you expect me to believe that of the scores of people who were part of this attack, not a single one did anything of that sort? Phooey.

Rape as a weapon of war and oppression is a well known war crime “feature” of humanity for millennia and known in basically all modern conflict.
Yet the same academic Peace Studies faculty were specifically silent or even disregarding of any possibility that their research applies to Israelis as a victim
