Before the Big Beautiful Bill was passed, simply being a veteran or homeless meant you would qualify for food stamps without needing to meet the minimum 20 hr per week work requirement. That has been repealed with Section 10102 of the Big Beautiful Bill.
Unfortunately, though they removed homeless and veterans, they added Native Americans in their place. My though is that this will remove a lot of people off of SNAP, although only time will tell. I imagine this is a large contributing factor to the rampant homeless problems that the United States is exhibiting across the country and likely could also be attributed to the increase in fentanyl use as well.

What is this your theory based on?
I just hate the Bill. There are some okay parts, but it just seems like that trump is adding to the shit in the govt. Authoritarianism is still authoritarianism, leftwing or rightwing.
