This is what happens if the border is secure. You can see that number decline during biden’s years as well

Some other tidbits:
– This includes a 64% approval of immigration among _republicans_, despite being at 40% in that cohort in 2024
– Trump’s immigration policy is 27 points underwater (35% approve, 62% disapprove)
As expected. People don’t like the status quo but they certainly hate trying to change it.
