It's so clear that their first lie of "no list exists" didn't work like they hoped, so now they're deploying the "actually it does but it's because Obama, Biden, Clinton, and all the usual boogiemen." If it were true, why didn't they lead with that? Say on Feb 2025: "we have evidence that the list was tampered with, and heres that evidence." Instead, they go with one lie, doesnt stick, so throw in another lie that contradicts the first. It's so clear a last ditch effort to cover up their cover up. They think you are dumb. This is an insult to the American people's intelligence.

Dumb is a nice way to put it
Their usual approach is to cycle through various lies until something sticks, or people just get tired of talking about the thing, or something else comes up to distract people.
But this one is pretty big and it’s going to take one heck of a distraction.
