The Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv has kept a serviceman from the security platoon of the Kyiv City Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center (TCC and SP) in custody. He is suspected of exceeding his authority while performing a task related to the “supply of mobilization resources,” as stated in court rulings.

According to the materials of the criminal case, on May 7, 2025, a Kyiv resident, N., was detained on the street by police and TCC and SP officers for violating military registration rules and being wanted.

On the same day, N. underwent a military medical commission, which deemed him fit for military service.

Thereafter, he was taken to the Kyiv City TCC and SP Assembly Point, located in the Darnytskyi district of the capital at 17A Zroshuvalna Street.

On May 8, N. was sent to a training center, but the center refused to “process” him, as it was discovered that he had alcohol dependency, a thigh injury, and varicose veins. Consequently, he was returned to the Kyiv assembly point.

However, on May 9, N. was included in another group of mobilized individuals and, accompanied by two officers and several servicemen, was sent to a training center near Starychi, Lviv region.

This training center also refused to “process” N. for the same reasons as the previous one.

As a result, N. had to be returned to Kyiv. There were reportedly many others whom the training center also rejected.

Late in the evening on May 9, the major in charge of the group ordered the bus driver to stop near a supermarket so the mobilized individuals could buy something. The major personally allowed N. to purchase a can of Revo energy drink, which contains a certain concentration of alcohol.
