* the data concerns only equipment stored in open storage, but that is over 90% of equipment as garages are very small compared to the overall size of bases

I’m a fan of the [Covert Cabal YouTube channel](https://youtube.com/@covertcabal?si=Zis59yjmQmnc3V81) which attempts to count Russian military equipment by using open source satellite images that can be purchased almost weekly it seems and comparing year over year
