Writing that young people today have a better start than in the 90s is a bit frivolous. It was precisely during the systemic transformations that the statement was last true that whoever rolled up their sleeves and got to work could, within the next 10 years, set themselves up for two generations. Most of those people, if they were starting today from a similar level of wealth, wouldn’t survive in Warsaw without parental help for the first three months.
