There’s also the dynamic mod which is more realistic and adds a bunch of cool features (it’s harder than the normal game though)
Most notably the other parties shift ideologies depending on your actions and the general mood of the countr. E.g. high republic support may cause the DNVP to fracture or conceding the office of the Prussian Minister-President to Adam Stegerwald may lead to Stegerwald becoming leader of the Centre Party.
