What is going on with Gen X being the most pro-Trump generation?

  1. The intersection of boomer greed/Reagan nostalgia and less actual traditional morality like manners and decorum that pushes some of the older generation away from Trump.

Xers were told to “never sell out” and so they never did and now they are pissed that their bodies are failing them and they have no savings or net worth.

  3. We champion Bill Clinton so it doesn’t surprise me that we are a homer for Trump. I disliked both so I’m in the minority

Trump appeals to the loud, opinionated assholes who just speak their mind without thinking about the consequences. It’s the kind of attitude to just want to shake things up, even if things are going well.

That’s more or less the stereotypical Gen Xer. Even if they don’t agree with everything he says, it’s how he says it that matters.

    Also, lead.

They are exactly who they are lol. Anyone over the age of 30 has been screaming for years that the worst people at work are absolutely not the Boomers. The kicker? Their kids suck too.

Just old enough to be mad primarily about cultural drift, not old enough to be out of the workforce and completely gripped by the possibility of Republicans cutting social security.

Also, reminder that the analysis of the last 5-10% of differences is more fun to debate, but not as important of the 35-40% of similarities.

Highest Blood-Lead levels of any generation. Plus they grew up during the 80s when “degenerate right” entertainment really kicked off.
