I used to work at a Walmart in a small town and had to zone the bread isle one day and check for out of date items. I found this stuffed on the bottom shelf behind a bunch of products. The purchase date was four days before I found it. Any idea what it could be? I wish I had opened it up to look inside but a supervisor was beside me and had me take it to Asset Protection.

A box of envelopes? They’re cheap enough to be envelopes. Correct size for the small ones, not the typical business ones though.
Just bog standard petty criminality …
that’s a 100ct box of Pen + Gear brand gummed privacy envelopes.

YOU OWN ME $40.00. JUST PUT IT IN THE ENVELOPES. $10.00 A WEEK. HIDE IT IN BREAD.
Maybe a couple people who worked different shifts were trying to settle up. That’s my only guess.
I used to have a guy put up my backstock bread(I delivered to Walmart) and I’d leave his money in an envelope. But this wasn’t me
