Glenn Dubin, Eva Anderson, Epstein > Eyes Wide Shut

Eva Anderson won Miss Sweden in 1980, and shortly after began an on/off relationship with Jeffrey Epstein that reportedly lasted 11 years. She later married Glenn Dubin (another Epstein associate, billionaire hedge fund guy), and has stayed in Epstein-related headlines over the years- especially with rumors involving her daughter Celina and his extremely odd relationship with her.

I started researching this and couldn’t help but notice strange thematic overlaps with Eyes Wide Shut: elite circles, beauty queens, masks (literal and metaphorical), and the role of women as symbols in hidden social power structures. Kubrick was meticulous. I know a lot of his references are tied to the Rothschild family and the Surrealist Ball of 1972-

What’s even more unsettling is how many beauty queens from the ’80s/’90s, those who reached sudden fame, either went missing, died under bizarre circumstances, or disappeared from public life altogether. We know the pattern.

I’m still digging into this and don’t want to sound conspiratorial, but I’m curious: Has anyone else noticed connections between Eyes Wide Shut, Epstein’s circle, or women like Eva? Or any other beauty queens from that era whose stories don’t sit right?
