Idc, never liked how much indians and India dickride russia. Their non-alignment foreign policy bullshit needs to end.
It feels so weird to see a foreign country griping about being bullied by Trump and… and feel no sympathy for them.
“Just add tariffs” may be Trump’s knee-jerk technique applying pressure, but for once he’s actually applying it for a good reason.
I’d love to see “we’ll invest the tariff revenues in solar projects in India so you can quit buying oil from scuzzballs once and for all.”
Hmm. This will end poorly for India.
EU may be importing from Russia but A) it’s mostly Germany and Italy, two countries that demonized nuclear and forced themselves into reliance on Russian energy and B) the EU at least has an exit plan for stopping reliance on Russian LNG and oil imports by 2027.
