The Trump administration has imposed sanctions on four new officials of the International Criminal Court as a reprisal for their investigations on crimes committed by US and Israeli nationals in Afghanistan and Palestine and the arrest warrants issued against Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant.

The four officials sanctioned are Judge Nicolas Guillou (France), who signed off the arrest warrants, Deputy Prosecutors Nazhat Shameem Khan (Fiji) and Mame Mandiaye Niang (Senegal) for upholding these warrants, and Judge Kimberly Prost (Canada) for issuing a ruling authorizing ICC investigations into US personnel in Afghanistan.

The four officials join four others that were sanctioned back in June 2025 under the same grievances – the Judges Beti Hohler (Slovenia), Reine Alapini-Gansou (Benin), Luz del Carmen Ibanez Carranza (Peru) and Solomy Balungi Bossa (Uganda).

The sanctioned individuals will see their US assets seized and will be barred from entering the country.
