No. This is where the idea of a massive celebration on Dec 25th comes from.
The Catholic church used its ‘if you can’t beat ‘em join ‘‘em’ playbook to overlay Christ-centered themes onto existing cultural pagan celebration days to co-opt it into a Christian celebration.
