to any people of means who can read the article, something I didn’t see brought up was the prevalence of Central Bankers in becoming moderate, effective politicians themselves, i.e. Super Mario in Italy, and Mark Carney so far in Canada
It makes me wonder if this trend (despite how specific the case was in Italy) might continue elsewhere, as technocrats within the state but not government become increasingly disgruntled with the affairs and actions of more and more populist leadership
