I went over to the AskConservatives sub yesterday to see if anyone asked them why they are honked off about the new logo and what exactly makes it “woke.” Somebody did ask. Nobody claiming to be a conservative could really give an answer. The closest someone got is they said it’s “culturally sanitized,” which I don’t wholly disagree with, but your average MAGAt doesn’t understand semiotics enough to reach such a conclusion. I’m assuming they’re just mad because some pundit or right-wing influencer told them they should be mad.
With that said, I drove past a Cracker Barrel yesterday and the lot was packed. So I guess at least in my town people aren’t canceling them.

It’s NOT the economy stupid!!!! It never was!!!! Seriously, the idea that “muh kitchen table issues” is what will win back voters is so out of touch with reality.
