Western Europe would still be marine-influenced because of prevailing westerly winds. I wonder if a similar region with a weaker warm current could at all be comparable to what a weakened Gulf Stream would be like for Europe. The Pacific Northwest and the Alaskan panhandle have a warm current, but it’s considerably weaker than the Gulf Stream.
