    In the jobs he talks about, it is a fact that part of the trade is being elite in marketing and networking. So you can be LeBron James but if you can’t skate you can’t play hockey.

  2. I feel like this article is trying to make “young people want to be famous” into a massive cultural problem.

    >It’s hard to see a future without a large number of young people who will settle for nothing but artistic success.

    And

    In particular stand out to me as massively overestimating the people who will stop at nothing to be famous. Instead of restructuring society so everybody can be tiktok famous, maybe they can just grow up and get over it?
